Mumbai–Pune Missing Link Project

The Mumbai–Pune Missing Link Project earned a Guinness World Record on May 1, 2026 for the widest underground tunnel, measuring 23.35 metres in width. Delivered by Navayuga Engineering in partnership with Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), the project represents a landmark achievement in tunnel engineering and infrastructure development. Located in the challenging Khopoli–Lonavala hill section of the Mumbai-Pune corridor, the project showcases exceptional engineering innovation, precision, and execution. This recognition reflects Navayuga's commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure that sets new benchmarks for the industry.

Most Concrete Continuously Poured in 24 Hours

Entrusted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Navayuga undertook the mammoth task of executing the prestigious Polavaram Dam Project. In a remarkable showcase of workforce coordination and logistical mastery, the project achieved a Guinness World Record on 7 January 2019 by continuously pouring an unprecedented 32,315.5 cubic metres of concrete into the spillway channel within a single 24-hour window. The milestone highlighted Navayuga's strength in delivering complex infrastructure projects at scale.

The Largest Continuous Concrete Pour

During the same Polavaram project, this second record was set simultaneously on 7 January 2019. It proves the massive scale of a spillway built to handle a huge flood discharge capacity. Pouring 32,315.5 cubic meters of concrete continuously was a major milestone for the dam. This achievement directly supports a reservoir designed to hold 194 TMC of water and secure a steady water supply.
