"A lesser known Indian company has dared to rival Arcelor-Mittal and Posco, by proposing to establish a gigantic 12 million tonne per annum steel mill in Orissa", said The Times of India when the Navayuga Group bid, and subsequently won, the project for a 14 MTPA steel unit in Astranga in Orissa. Efforts are underway to make this facility a state-of-the-art, green steel unit that will generate thousands of employment opportunities and prove beneficial to the socio-economic upliftment of the region.
