Hydro Power
Building the Future of Renewable Energy
Powering Sustainable Growth Through Clean Energy
Navayuga Engineering is committed to advancing India's clean energy transition through the development of world-class hydroelectric infrastructure. Building on decades of expertise in large-scale civil engineering, tunneling, dams, hydraulic structures, river management, and EPC execution, Navayuga is strengthening its presence in the hydropower sector with the capability to deliver complex hydroelectric developments in challenging terrains.
Proven Experience in Hydroelectric Infrastructure
Navayuga's hydropower capabilities are founded on its successful execution of major water resources and hydroelectric infrastructure projects. The company played a significant role in the prestigious Polavaram Multipurpose Project in Andhra Pradesh, one of India's largest and most challenging infrastructure undertakings. The project achieved global recognition by setting Guinness World Records for the largest continuous concrete pour and the most concrete continuously poured in 24 hours, with 32,315.5 cubic meters of concrete placed in a single day.
Through the execution of critical components including spillway structures, tunnels, hydraulic works, and associated infrastructure, Navayuga has demonstrated its ability to deliver engineering excellence on projects of national importance.
Building the Future of Renewable Energy
Navayuga is associated with the OJU Hydroelectric Project (2220 MW) in Arunachal Pradesh, which is currently under the DPR and development stage.
The project is aimed at harnessing the hydroelectric potential of the Himalayan river basin and is planned to contribute significantly to India’s long-term renewable energy and energy security goals.
Creating Lasting Value
Hydropower is more than a source of clean energy—it is a catalyst for regional development, employment generation, infrastructure growth, and long-term sustainability. Through the OJU Hydroelectric Project and future initiatives, Navayuga aims to create lasting value for communities, stakeholders, and the nation while contributing to a cleaner, more resilient energy future.
