Pune Ring Road – Package PRR W2

Access-controlled expressway network

The Pune Ring Road Package W2 is a key segment of Maharashtra’s flagship access-controlled expressway network, being executed by Navayuga Engineering Company Limited for Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited (MSRDCL). The 20-km-long corridor extending from Kemsewadi (km 14+000) to Morewadi (km 34+000) and designed to enhance regional connectivity, decongest urban traffic and support the long-term growth of the Pune Metropolitan Region, is scheduled for completion in November 2027.

The project encompasses the construction of a six-lane access-controlled expressway, service roads, a major bridge, minor bridges, vehicular underpasses, vehicular overpasses, pedestrian underpasses, culverts, interchanges, toll plazas and a twin-tube tunnel section. Executed in challenging terrain and complex geological conditions, the project integrates advanced highway, structural and tunnel engineering solutions to deliver a safe, efficient and future-ready transportation corridor.

As a vital component of the Pune Ring Road network, Package W2 reflects Navayuga’s expertise in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects through innovation, engineering excellence and sustainable construction practices. Upon completion, the corridor will significantly improve mobility, reduce travel time and strengthen connectivity across the Pune region, contributing to economic development and enhanced quality of life.
