ESG Policy – Environmental, Social, and Governance Policy
At NECL, we are dedicated to integrating environmental, social and effective corporate governance principles into every facet of our EPC business. Our ESG Policy Statement underscores our unwavering commitment to enhancing our ESG performance in all business decisions and opportunities. This policy is to be adhered to by our shareholders, management, employees, contractors, suppliers/vendors, and all other stakeholders involved in our operations.
ESG Initiatives
Environmental: NECL targets to achieve goals of energy efficiencies, carbon footprints, greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, biodiversity, climate change and pollution mitigation, waste management and water usage in all our projects & activities.
Social: NECL continually improves its social targets including labour standards, wages and benefits, human rights, talent management, community relations, privacy and data protection, health and safety, supply-chain management, customer satisfaction and social justice issues.
Governance: NECL management is committed to transparent ESG reporting, strategic sustainability oversight, engaging all stakeholders and ensuring all legal compliances in all our activities.
EHS Management System
NECL implements EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) management system in all our projects aiming to protect workers and the environment from harm, ensuring compliance with regulations, reputation and stakeholder trust, cost reduction and promoting a safe and healthy workplace.
IMS Implementation
NECL implements Integrated Management System (IMS) combining ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards into a cohesive framework to improve the overall business performance and efficiency in all our projects and activities.
Green Energy & Greenfield Projects
NECL is developing and operating greenfield ports and green building projects and targets to achieve India’s SDC goals by the year 2030 by adopting alternate energy sources in our projects. STP/ETPs maintained in projects & ports.
